Large images may look better, but they are very inefficient if you need to send them over the Internet or post them on a web page. Reducing their size is the best solution and you can do it almost instantly with Magic Image Resizer. Due to its simple, yet effective design, you can resize multiple images at once with only a few clicks. Once you start the process, the software will not keep you waiting for too long and you will find the processed images in the source folder.

It does not matter if you are using Windows 95 or Windows 7. Magic Image Resizer works on any Windows platforms without impacting your computer's performance. The setup file is only 346 Kb large, so downloading and installing the software will be a swift process.

The application's interface is small and there are not many options on it, so resizing images will be a fast, easy and straightforward process. You can explore your folders structure in the upper left area of the window. When you access an images folder, the files, with their extensions, will be listed beneath the folders structure. Selected images can be previewed on a separate window, which can be activated in the File menu. Magic Image Resizer will recognize images in popular formats, such as JPEG, GIF or BMP.

Resizing images requires selecting them and typing a new number of pixels on the right side of the interface. You can set the application to perform faster, but the quality of the images will be affected or you can select a slower process for a higher quality. Even if you choose a slower task, after you click the Resize button, your images will be modified in no time. You can not select the output path, but Magic Image Resizer will not overwrite your images. It will store the edited pictures in a new folder, called "resized", in the selected images folder.

Pros

Every aspect of the application is easy to understand. Images can be resized immediately and all it takes is to type a number, select a processing method and hit a button. Magic Image Resizer comes in a very small package, which makes it possible to install it on your computer in a few seconds.

Cons

The software supports only three image formats. With Magic Image Resizer, you can change the size of any number of images with little or no effort, without needing advanced knowledge.
